At Earlswood on October 24th 2009 shouts of "Well bowled" rang out to encourage young bowlers in the East versus West game. The youngsters were well supported by their parents and grandparents which made for a great atmosphere in the stadium. The coloured bowls also made for a colourful scene.
Earlswood's Chris Preece skipped one rink along with 3rd Dale McCarthy, 2nd's Shame Hill and Sam Torlop and Lead Cameron White. Both the WLIBA President Mrs Gloria Watkins and WIBA President Maurice Ashton were present. The trophy was presented to the winning East Captain Ross Owen by President Gloria who also congratulated West Captain Ysie White on a fine performance.

January 2010 was a winning day for Port Earl as they beat Bro Myrddin 53 to 35.75 shots. Once again the parents fully supported the youngsters.
